Pamela Maurer, Ph.D., is an HR and industrial-organizational psychology practitioner with more than twenty years of experience in the non-profit, service, pharmaceutical, technology start-up, veterinary medicine, and manufacturing sectors. Pam also has a Master’s in IO Psychology from Walden University, a Master’s degree with Commendation in International Human Resource Management from Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and an MBA with a concentration in Leadership from Walden University. She completed her four advanced degrees while working full-time.
Her career started in manufacturing and then transitioned into a career in veterinary medicine as a licensed veterinary technician (RVT). While pursuing a veterinary career, she cofounded a state-wide non-profit trade association that supports RVTs and students through legislative and regulatory work. During her time as an RVT, she developed an interest in learning and development, which led to her career in HR and IO.
Pam’s passion lies in coaching and mentoring front-line supervisors and middle managers, empowering them to unlock their full potential and drive business success. She relies on a holistic, people-centric approach to addressing organizational issues, identifying patterns and gaps in processes and systems, and developing collaborative solutions to address these challenges. This people-centric approach is rooted in her belief that a motivated and engaged workforce drives business growth and success.
