Okechukwu “Okey” Ihenacho, MAIOP, SHRM-CP, PMP, is a decorated former U.S. Marine Corps Officer who has been deployed in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He brings over 15 years of leadership and operational expertise to LCG. Okey possesses a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, strategic planning, and the importance of fostering resilient, adaptive teams in high-stakes environments.
Throughout his military career, Okey has led teams through complex combat and contingency operations and instructed future leaders in military warfare planning. From spearheading counterinsurgency efforts in Afghanistan to orchestrating multinational exercises with allies like, Japan, Singapore, and Australia, he has excelled in talent management, change leadership, and building cohesive organizational cultures.
Whether leading and mentoring Marines, advising senior leaders, or developing training curricula as a Warfare Planning Instructor, Okey is experienced at equipping individuals and teams to thrive amid uncertainty. As both a practitioner and scholar, he combines extensive field experience with academic insight as a consultant in the areas of workforce optimization, organizational development, and HR innovation. In his downtime, Okey enjoys spending time with his family, reading, staying physically active, and exploring the coastal attractions of California.
